I’m a little late in posting after what was a very fun, but very jam-packed, weekend. The Geek and I celebrated our 5-year anniversary on Saturday. We invited our local friends and their families to mark the occasion with us at our first BBQ of the season. Here’s the Geek, wearing one of the presents I got him:
If you’re having trouble reading his shirt, hold your computer screen up to a mirror. My very vain husband was thrilled to own a piece of clothing that can actually read his thoughts. 
On Sunday, more friends came over for another BBQ, including Our Favorite Neighbors. Goose and the Geek’s Godchild had a blast playing in a tub of water. We gave up using it to ice our drinks and let them run wild!
Sunday also marked Beanie’s third birthday. Auntie baked some special pupcakes (No, that’s not a typo…) for Beanie and Alistair to enjoy.
Beanie even shared a pupcake with Nellie. Here are all three dogs chowing down…
Finally, on Monday, Goose’s Future Wife and her family joined us for BBQ #3. They did a little fishing on the pond, too.
If you’re tired from reading this, just think how tired we are from living it. As our favorite Southern friend likes to say, we’re “plum tuckered”!
HAPPY (belated) ANNIVERSARY! I always forget that ours are the same time of year. And wow–that a lot of BBQ for one weekend….
